Rich Media Worldwide, LLC dba “RealVu” and its affiliates (collectively "RealVu") has prepared this privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") to describe what information about you is collected by us on our own web site and on external web sites through active RealVu Tags placed on those web sites, and how that information may be used, disclosed and protected when a person visits the RealVu web site, registers as RealVu licensee to use any of our services, or visits a third-party web site on which RealVu Tags have been placed.
This Privacy Policy only applies to the following web site: www.realvu.net (“RealVu Website”) and does not apply to information that may be collected offline. RealVu may revise or update this Notice from time to time; therefore you should revisit this page often for the latest information.
Please note that the RealVu Website contains links to external web sites. These web sites, which include the web sites of our Licensees or those of their customers and online advertisers, may deploy active RealVu Tags. These external web sites will have their own privacy policies, which will likely differ from those of RealVu. Some of these external web sites may collect personally identifiable information from you. While RealVu hopes that such external websites and their online advertisers adhere to policies similar to those of RealVu regarding the privacy of their web site visitors, our Privacy Policy does not cover third-party data collection practices and RealVu does not assume any responsibility for any actions of such external web sites and their online advertisers.
By visiting the RealVu Website or using the RealVu Products and Services, you agree, without limitation or qualification, to be bound by this Privacy Policy and to receive any required legal notices regarding our privacy practices through the continuous posting (throughout the RealVu Website near the bottom of most pages) of a clear and conspicuous link to the most current version of this Privacy Policy. If you become an inactive user, we will adhere to the policies and practices as described in this Privacy Policy, which may be revised from time to time.
1. What is "Personally Identifiable Information” and how does it relate to me?
Information collected online is typically defined as either “anonymous” or “personally identifiable” information.
Anonymous Data: On the RealVu web site and by way of active RealVu Tags that have been placed on third-party web sites, we collect anonymous data that cannot be linked to a specific individual. We collect some information each time a visitor comes to the RealVu web site to help us improve the overall quality of the visitor's online experience. In particular, we collect the visitor's IP address, referral data, and browser and platform type. We also collect data on online activities on our web site (e.g., log files of web activities). We collect this user information for purposes of monitoring and improvement of the RealVu web site, products and services. You do not have to register with RealVu in order for us to be able to collect this anonymous information.
Personally Identifiable Information: Personally identifiable information refers to data that directly identifies who you are (such as your name and postal address, social security number or other identifying number or code, telephone number, email address ) which may be collected in addition to the anonymous data described above. We collect personal information in the following ways:
- Licensee Registration: When you register to become a RealVu licensee you are asked to provide us with the following information: User ID, Password, First and Last Name, Contact Information (Postal Address, Phone, Fax, Website, E-mail, and Business Type (Size and Revenue) and license fee payment data. We do not collect any if your credit card details that you may provide to our external payment processing vendor for payment of licensing and use fees. Licensees who complete the registration process are given a RealVu ID and can start creating, distributing, placing and monitoring RealVu Tags on their own or on third-party web sites.
- Correspondence: If you contact RealVu and/or make payments of license fees, we keep a record of your and our correspondence and/or payment history. We do not collect any email addresses of persons other than Licensees who communicate with us via email. We only use such information provided so that we may respond to the email.
- Content posted to RealVu Tags: RealVu also collects information about the Content that you transmit or post, such as advertisements or other information or Content to be displayed on websites using RealVu Tags in order for us to be able to monitor your ongoing compliance with our Terms of Service and/or any License Agreement you may have entered into with RealVu.
- Content Viewing Data. We collect data on the viewing of RealVu-enabled Content posted on external web sites using RealVu Tags. This information includes information about your display screen resolution, browser window dimensions, and scrolling position at the point of view events, as well as the time and frequency at which content was visible to you; when you first visit a RealVu-enabled area on such web sites, our servers place a cookie such that if you view the same content again, we can count that view as a second view of the same content (frequency).

2. Which information is collected by whom?
When you visit the RealVu web site, information about your activity on our own web site is collected and maintained solely by us, rather than by an external organization, unless specifically stated otherwise at the point of collection. If data is collected and/or maintained by any company other than RealVu, we will tell you at the point of collection. If you do not want to share your information with that company, you can choose not to use that service.
When you visit a RealVu-enable external web site, the owner or operator of that web site, advertisers advertising on such web site, or the advertising agency that placed or arranged for the placement of the RealVu-enabled advertisement on that web site may collect information about your activity on that web site. Such information may be more extensive than that collected by the active RealVu Tags. In addition, such external web sites may deploy third-party ad server or analytics tags. As stated previously in this Privacy Policy, such external web sites or tags are not covered by this Privacy Policy. Whenever a business entity subscribes to our services and provides such services to its employees, this Privacy Policy generally will govern how we treat the employees' personally identifiable information. However, we view the business entity as the subscriber and our license agreement with the business entity may require that we provide access to or disclose personally identifiable information about an employee's use of our services, such as service usage. In that case, the company's own privacy policy will govern how it treats that information.

3. RealVu's Use of Cookies and Web bugs
Cookies are small text files placed on your hard drive by a web site when you visit that web site. These files identify your computer and record your preferences and other data about your visit to that site so that when you return to the site, the site knows who you are and can personalize your visit. For example, cookies are what enable our log-on page to function so that you only have to log-on once. RealVu may use cookies in general to collect information to determine how to improve our web site or any web site managed by us on behalf of or for our customers, by seeing which areas, features and products are most popular; to personalize such web site(s) and make recommendations based on preferences you have communicated in the past as well as to improve your web site experience and to complete transactions you have requested.
Advertisers, if any, that may serve ads on such web site(s) may also use their own cookies. Our licensees and subscribers may use cookie technology to measure the effectiveness of their own web sites. Unless managed or controlled by us, the use of such cookies is subject to such licensee’s or subscriber’s privacy policy, not the Privacy Policy of RealVu. RealVu may ask these licensees or subscribers to report back information to us and in such a case, that information, if linked to personally identifiable information, will be treated as such and governed by this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy will be updated to provide you with more information should these practices be modified or changed in any material way.
As technology advances and cookies provide more functionality, we expect to utilize them in different offerings in different ways. As we do so, this Privacy Policy will be updated to provide you with more information.
You can prevent our Cookies from collecting anonymous information by setting your Web browser to refuse all cookies or the RealVu cookie in particular.
Web bugs, or web beacons, are small, graphic image files placed on a Web page or in an E-mail message that is designed to monitor who is reading the Web page or E-mail message. Web bugs are often invisible to the user because they are typically very small (only 1-by-1 pixel) and the same color as the background of the Web page or E-mail message. Web bugs are represented as HTML IMG tags in the Web page; users should click on "view source" of the Web page to see whether the page is using a Web bug. RealVu does use or permit third parties to use Web bugs on the RealVu web site.

4. How does RealVu use "Personally Identifiable" information?
When you visit the RealVu web site, personally identifiable information about your activity on our web site is maintained and accessible solely by us, unless stated otherwise.
In general, we use "personally identifiable" information for billing purposes, to communicate with you, to market and provide services, to anticipate and resolve problems with our service, or to create and inform you of services that may better meet your needs. 5. How does RealVu use Aggregate Data?
RealVu collects aggregate data on how you use our services or interact with active RealVu Tags placed on RealVu-enabled web sites and combines such information with information about how others use the same services and/or or interact with such RealVu Tags, but no personally identifiable information will be included in the resulting data. Aggregate data helps us understand trends as well as subscriber and external web site owners’ needs, so that we can better consider new services or tailor existing services to the requirements of our subscribers, including web publishers, online advertisers or other digital content owners.
Generally, RealVu uses the aggregate data to perform statistical analyses of the collective characteristics and behavior of our registered users and visitors, to measure user demographics and interests regarding specific our services, which enables us to update, change or enhance our web site content and services appropriately.

6. When and with whom does RealVu share or disclose information it collects?
RealVu is NOT in the business of selling personally identifiable information to others and we disclose "personally identifiable" information only in the following ways:
1. With Your Consent
We may obtain your consent to disclose personally identifiable in a number ways, including in writing; online by clicking a button to submit information to us; or at the time of initiation or use of any service when your consent is part of the required terms and conditions to use the service. Sometimes your consent is implicit. For example, if you subscribe to the RealVu services through our web site, you implicitly consent to our disclosure of your name, address and your charge card number to our billing service vendor to collect payment.
2. Transaction Processing
We disclose personally identifiable information to third parties only as necessary to complete a transaction or perform a service in our behalf. When a third party, such as a billing service vendor, acts on our behalf, RealVu that they restrict their use and disclosure of personally identifiable information and maintain the confidentiality of such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. That means that such third party, in acting on our behalf, will not be permitted to disclose "personally identifiable" information to another third party without our consent.
3. Certain Business Transfers
RealVu may merge with or be acquired by another company. In such transactions as well as in the event of insolvency, bankruptcy or receivership, "personally identifiable" customer information may be transferred as one of the business assets in the transaction. RealVu will notify you by an email sent to the email address you provided to us or by a posting on the RealVu web site in the event that your personally-identifiable information is transferred under these circumstances and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
4. Protection of RealVu and Others
We will release personally identifiable and other account information about individual users when we believe such release to governmental or judicial authorities or law enforcement agencies, or to other individuals or entities is appropriate to comply with the law (in response to subpoena, court order, or other legal process); to enforce or apply our Terms of Service and/or License Agreement; to initiate, render, bill, and collect for services; or to protect our rights or property, or to protect RealVu against fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful use of, or subscription to, the RealVu Media and Advertising Platform services. 7. How do you check or update your account information?
RealVu provides its registered subscribers [account holders/licensee??] with the ability to access and edit the personal information in their user profiles. You may change your username, password, and certain other information at any time by selecting and log-in on the "My Account " page on our web site. After you log in, you will be taken to the page containing your user profile. You will be able to edit any field that you wish to update and save your changes. You may also call your account representative for assistance.

8. Is your information secure?
RealVu maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards for information collected (through your use of the RealVu web site or your interaction with active RealVu Tags placed on external web sites) and stored on our computers to protect such information against loss, misuse and alteration. Only our authorized employees have access to the personally identifiable information you provide us, whereas subscribers to the RealVu services, including the owners and operators of RealVu-enable web sites, advertisers and those advertising agencies that placed or arranged to place RealVu Tags on such web sites, have access to aggregate (but not personally identifiable) information relating to those active RealVu Tags.
We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input, to enable you to securely view your account information on our web site. Credit card numbers used to subscribe or pay for our services are encrypted prior to transmission.
You should be aware that we have no control over the security of RealVu-enabled or other external web sites on the Internet you visit, interact with, or from which you buy products or services.
An important part of protecting the security of personal information is your own effort to protect against unauthorized access to and disclosure of your information, including user-ID and passwords. RealVu makes no representations or warranties about the security of third-party web sites on which RealVu Tags have been placed or that your use of our services or interaction with RealVu Tags will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of infection by viruses or other malicious codes or acts of third parties beyond our control.

10. RealVu’s compliance with The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)?
The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) of 1998 provides safeguards to protect children who use the Internet by regulating the online collection of personal information from children under the age of 13.
RealVu recognizes that parents may purchase our services for family use, including for use by minors. Any information collected from such usage will appear to be that of the subscriber or end-user (the parent) and treated as such under this Privacy Policy. Further, in accordance with the COPPA and this Privacy Policy, RealVu does not design or intend for its services to collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. Specifically, through our license agreement, subscribers to our services represent and warrant that they are of legal age to enter into binding agreements. If our policies change in that regard, we will obtain verifiable parental consent before any collection, use or disclosure of such information.
Please be aware that if a child under the age of 13 uses our services with or without your permission to access a web site on the Internet, such web site's privacy policy (including treatment of information that your child provided or may provides to that web site) will govern.
